The best Après Ski villages in Austria

By: Victor Comments: 0

The combination of winter sports and Après Ski, we can't get enough of it. In the morning we leave for the lift as early as possible to be the first to ride down the freshly prepared slopes. Delicious! Make a lot of kilometers until lunch to take it a bit easier in the afternoon with a full belly and live towards the festive Après Ski. Après Ski is very important for many winter sports enthusiasts. Good to list the nicest winter sports villages (according to us).

Ischgl
Ischgl is not only fantastic in terms of skiing, but also has the most amazing Après Ski with more than enough options. The mood is set early on at the Paznauner Taja on the slopes. In the very cozy village, the party then continues until the late hours. Well-known Après Ski bars are the Kuhstall and the Trofana Alm. You can have fun here, because there really is something for everyone in the attractive center.

St Anton am Arlberg
What a party! The Après Ski starts early in the Mooserwirt on the slopes. Many Après Skiers go down the last part a bit tipsy here and this results in quite a bit of gloating. In the valley you can then find plenty of Après Ski entertainment until late.

Saalbach/Hinterglemm
Saalbach/Hinterglemm both have fantastic Après Ski with a wide choice of bars. You can hit the slopes early at the Goaßtal and here too you can continue until the night hours. The Après Ski Palace, the Hexenhäusl, Bauer's Schi-Alm and the Hinterhag Alm are a few of the many popular Après Ski bars that you can find here.

Solden
In Sölden you will find more than enough choice in terms of Après Ski. The Almrausch and the Schirmbar are perfect party starters for Après Ski. If you're not done with it after that, you'll find more than enough party noise in the popular Fire & Ice bar.

Kirchberg
Delicious Après Ski with a Dutch touch. Pubs full of Dutch DJs, singers, bar staff and guests provide a Dutch experience in an atmospheric Austrian village. Après Ski bars that you cannot and should not miss are the Eisbar and Der Tiroler.

Mayrhofen
Mayrhofen is one of the founders of Après Ski and that atmosphere is still great here. It is often busy at the Ice Bar, but there is also more than enough fun to be found in the other Après Ski bars. Mayrhofen is “the place to be” for many young people.

Gerlos
Exuberant Après Ski and lots of Dutch people. You can have fun early at Seppi's and afterwards you will find plenty of entertainment at Cin Cin and Little London. Gerlos is a little bit of the Netherlands in an Austrian village. With many Dutch singers and DJs you soon have a 100% party guarantee in your pocket.

Westendorf
Westendorf is a cozy and atmospheric village, where many Dutch come every year. The Après Ski is exuberant here and with bars such as the Moskito, Gerry's Inn and the Karat you can keep your feet off the floor until the wee hours.

Flachau
The Hofstadl is the most famous Après Ski bar in Flachau and perhaps one of the most famous in Austria. Liters of beer and wine on the tables in combination with the best music is the ultimate recipe for the best Après Ski.

The day after
